Tucked away in a peaceful valley between Bright and Harrietville, Feathertop Views & Barn offers a serene escape surrounded by native bushland and breathtaking mountain views. Set on 8 private hectares, this beautifully positioned holiday retreat provides the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience—just a short drive to Bright (14km) and Harrietville (12km).
Whether you’re here to unwind or get active, this is an ideal base for exploring Victoria’s High Country. Step straight onto the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail or take a short walk to the nearby Ovens River for a refreshing swim. From cycling, hiking, and skiing to fishing, mountain biking, or simply relaxing by the fire, there’s something for everyone here.
The main house features a practical and welcoming open plan layout, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area, and a wood heater for cosy nights in. Three comfortable queen bedrooms and a spacious outdoor deck make it perfect for entertaining, soaking in the views, or enjoying summer BBQs under the stars.
Travelling with a larger group? You’ll love The Barn, which is included in your booking. It features:
A fourth queen bedroom
A fun kids’ bunkroom with bunks, lounge area, beanbags and TV
A rustic-style bathroom and laundry facilities
A second wood heater
Easy access to the main house via a short path
The barn is a fantastic space for families or groups needing a bit more room and a separate hangout zone for kids.
Together, Feathertop Views & Barn can accommodate up to 13 guests, making it an excellent option for extended families or groups of friends seeking space, comfort, and a true High Country experience.

All quality linen and bath towels are supplied. Please bring your own towels for the river or pool.
Note: Due to OH&S regulations, bunks will not be made up prior to your arrival. Fresh linen will be provided folded at the end of each bunk.
Rates & Guests
The property is exclusively booked for your group.
There are no additional guest surcharges – what you see is what you pay.

Firewood is provided from May 1st to September 30th, with an initial allocation for one night. Additional wood can be purchased locally.
