Welcome to The Gap your peaceful country escape.
If you’re looking for a charming country cottage that feels peaceful and private while still being just a short drive to Bright, The Gap is your perfect hideaway. Nestled among bushland and farmland, this cosy two-story cabin offers a relaxed space to unwind and rejuvenate.
In summer, the beautiful in-ground swimming pool is the place to be, while the stunning mountain views will take you away no matter the season.
With a queen bed in the master bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom, there’s space for a romantic escape or a small family retreat. The upstairs bathroom is shared by all guests, with an additional toilet downstairs for extra convenience.

All quality linen and bath towels are supplied. Please bring your own towels for the river or pool.

Base rate includes up to 2 guests. Extra charges apply for additional guests per night.

Driveway parking for multiple cars.
Pet Policy
We love welcoming your furry friends! If you’re bringing a pet, please let Bright Escapes know in advance, as a pet fee of $50 per pet applies. A maximum of two pets are allowed per property. Note that the property is fence, however being a rural property, there may be gaps in which small dogs can escape.
To keep our properties clean and comfortable for everyone:
Pets must not be left unattended at any time.
Please clean up after your pets before you leave—additional fees may apply if this isn’t done.
Pets are not allowed on soft furnishings, so please bring their own beds and blankets.
If pet hair, soiled carpets, or furniture require professional cleaning, additional charges will apply.

Swimming Pool
Swimming pool is not heated. Bright Escapes is not held response for weather conditions, and the state of the pool due to weather. The pool is serviced on a regular 10 day maintenance cycle. it is unrealistic to expect unplanned additional maintenance outside of this scheduled cycle.
Wi-Fi
While Wi-Fi is provided, availability is dependent on the network provider and cannot be guaranteed. Bright Escapes is not responsible for any service outages.

Firewood
Firewood is provided from May 1st to September 30th, with an initial allocation for one night. Additional wood can be purchased locally.
The property also has other heating options.

Please report any cleaning or maintenance concerns within 24 hours of arrival.
